Raven is a symposium, a convention and a play about peak performance and what happens when nothing else works. The frame of reference is the chronic illness ME/CFS. The event series aims to create space for the diverse and often hybrid knowledge, the stories and, above all, the art that is created under the conditions and in the environment and despite the chronic illness ME/CFS. References are excess and club culture of the 90s and claustrophobic fantasies of forced standstill, as E.A. Poe designed them 100 years earlier. Sick and non-ill artists are involved in the conception and design of the event series with various contributions.
